Triglav lakes

Located in the Triglav National Park, the Valley of Seven Lakes is supposed to be the kingdom of a mythical white chamois with golden horns. Spotting a Goldenhorn is a snowball's chance in hell, but you won’t mind that once you get sight of the picturesque scenery the Valley has to offer. After the first ascent from our starting point, we reach the first alpine meadow with a mountain lodge overlooking the lake and from there on you’ll be walking open-mouthed. Moving on through the alpine woods we get to a pasture which used to be settled by shepherds and their herds. Their lovely wooden cottages will make you want to stay there but we’ll keep moving to the best part which is saved for last. The Triglav Lakes Mountain Hut is where we’ll take enough time to admire the clear waters of double lakes and epic views of surrounding mountains. We’ll return on the same path after we rest our feet and grab something to eat.

Elevation gain: 538 m
Hike duration: 8-10 hours

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

Paragliding paradise

I never knew what I was missing until I tried out this paragliding thing with your company. I felt like I was in heaven. I can’t even describe the scenery and everything I saw, because it felt like I was in a fairytale. Thanks so much to Nature Adventures for giving us the option to do this. Kisses from Spain. K.L.

Fly away

I decided to go skydiving with Nature Adventure, and it was the best decision I ever made. I felt really safe all the time, and it was evident that everyone involved were true professionals. This made my trip to Slovenia unforgettable! Jorge B.

Fun, fun, fun

We had a fantastic time on this trip. You get to see so much in one day, and although €70 maybe seems quite expensive for a day trip, you really get good value for your money. An alternative would have been to hire a car for a day and do it ourselves but there is no way we'd have been able to have covered anywhere near as much in one day as you could on the Emerald River Adventure, or have found as many of the sights as we got to see. The guides’ are great as well, and spoke...

Action packed

So here’s how our day went. First they picked us up with a van right in front of our hostel, which was great, because we were a group of 4 and didn’t want to walk to the center. Then we stopped at Lake Jasna, and I was immediately hooked on this country. I’ve just never seen such magnificent things before. There was a nice chapel there, but when we got to the river Soča things really got interesting. My buddy and I decided to go for the optional rafting and it was the perfect rush and cool off we could...

Best day ever

I just came from the two lakes adventure, and I can’t believe it took me so long to visit Slovenia. I’ve never seen so many beautiful things in one day, it was simply breathtaking. When you take the boat to the Bled island you feel like you’re rowing towards paradise. The guides were also really cool, not boring as they usually are. 10 thumbs up. Rhonda87
