The beautiful Vintgar Gorge is a must see in Slovenia, since it represents a lively and diverse natural habitat with its waterfalls, pools, rapids and vegetation. The 1,6 kilometres long and 150 metres deep Vintgar Gorge was graced by the Radovna River. In the gorge, you are able to walk by a trail made of wooden bridges. At the end of the gorge, you will find a mighty 13-metre-high Šum Waterfall. The waterfall is named after its noise, since it can be heard from far away.
